A scrambled weight - probably made ca. 1860/70 - which displays the overall white tonality associated with B&S, relieved by coloured ribbons and whole and partial millefiori canes. It has a complete 1852 date cane with 3 running rabbit silhouettes, although the numerals are not on the usual blue/black field, but are surrounded by bluish-grey in a 10-point white cog also lined in bluish-grey. Next to it is a partial date cane in the same colour tone with 2 running rabbits. Another (slightly-squashed) date cane has all 4 numerals but only 2 running rabbits, and a 2nd partial date cane has 4 running rabbits, - making a total of 11 running rabbits! One cane has what looks like an elongated blue/black double “8".
