Buying or ordering a paperweight - or any other item - from weights-n-things - is simple & convenient.

Basically, we prefer the personal touch...you ring or email us and we discuss what you’re interested in etc. We hope that that's how most people will contact us.

Buyers living outside the European Union are exempt from VAT (value added tax) which, according to German law, has to be included in our prices. The shop system will automatically deduct the VAT on new items.
However, due to margin scheme taxation, the rate of VAT varies on pre-owned goods - so if you are resident outside the EU, it's a good idea to enquire about the price of the article you are interested in. Use the Contact form at the bottom of the page.

However, we have to move with the times - hence our “Online Shop”. Ordering products and arranging shipping can be done in 6 easy steps!

If you see something you like while browsing the website, click the Add to Cart button and the article will be automatically “reserved” while you Continue Shopping. 
The  Currency Converter (top right) will give you an idea of the price in $ US.
Continue to add whatever you like...wihout committing yourself to anything; if you change your mind, press the Remove button alongside the article!
Having placed a product - or products - in your shopping cart use the Shipping Calculator to work out what shipping will cost. 
Once you have made your final choice click Proceed To Checkout.

1. Checkout Method
If you are a Registered User log-in with your email address and password. New customers can either Checkout as a Guest or Register for future transactions. If checking out as a Guest, ignore the required fields on the right-hand side of the page, click Checkout as Guest, then press Continue in the middle of the page. Personal data will be processed and securely stored (see our Privacy Policy). Registered Users should fill in the required fields to log-in, then click Continue or Login to move to:

2. Billing Information
Here Guests will have to enter their details in the required fields and select where the goods are to be shipped to. Registered Users need only select the shipping address. A click on the Continue button takes you to step 3:

3. Shipping Information
This step is for buyers who want goods shipped to an address other than their Billing Address. Use the relevant fields to fill in the address to which the goods are to be sent. Paypal will sometimes not accept a shipping address which is different to the registered address.
In such cases,please contact us so that we can override it or ask for confirmation that the goods really are to be shipped to a different address.
If you clicked Ship to Billing Address in Step 2, you will automatically skip step 3 and move on to:

4. Shipping Method
Data stored in the system calculates the weight + packaging and works out the most reasonable shipping costs to the address you have given. All you have to do is confirm the rate and click Continue to get to: 

5. Payment Information
Payment within Germany please by bank transfer (Überweisung) and from other Euro-zone countries by Standard Euro Transfer. The Single European Payments Area (SEPA) is a zone in which electronic payments between member states are considered to be domestic transfers. An IBAN and SWIFT/BIC code are required. These can be found under Payment Information on the Order Email.
Payment from UK customers please either by online bank transfer (NatWest Account No. and IBAN/BIC can be found on the Order Email) or by a cheque drawn on a UK bank, which can either be sent to us or paid in at any NatWest branch.

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to process credit cards.

Having clicked one of the choices: Bank Transfer or Cheque press Continue which will take you to Order Review - Stage No. 6

Customers in the U.S. and other non EU countries have the possibility to use PayPal or pay with a US $ check drawn on a US bank (or, of course, GBP cheques drawn on a UK bank). They must also then press Continue to arrive at:

6. Order Review
Here you can check your order: the selected product(s) + shipping (p&p) charges and see the Grand Total. Please read the Terms & Conditions and Cancellation & Returns Policy (provided on the Order Review  page) and tick the boxes to confirm that you have read them and understood the conditions stated therein. These then become an integral part of the contract.
