Above pale-green, ribbed leaves are 2 brown & green buds about to flower and a pale-yellow primrose in full bloom. Its 5 heart-shaped petals surround an amber & white millefiori cane. On the underside of the millefiori “stamen” is a tiny “PH” signature cane. The design is encircled by a spaced garland of green, white & pink cog canes.
Made while Peter was chief designer at Selkirk Glass, the weight is cut with a circular top window and 5 small round side facets. The flat, polished base is scratch-signed: 1985 Primrose 1/1 Peter Holmes.
