Rosenfeld, Ken

Ken Rosenfeld began to work with glass in the mid 1970s. He first came into contact with paperweights when he worked at Correia Art Glass in southern California. He experimented with new ideas and eventually by the mid 1980s he began to create his own designs. His meticulously detailed lampwork designs include flowers, floral bouquets, fruit and vegetables. His "R" signature cane is usually placed on the side of the weight in order not to interfere with the design. In addition, his weights are generally signed and dated or have a KR monogram.
