There are a large number of Reference Books dealing with paperweights. Over the years, however, new research has uncovered more information and sometimes older attributions and opinions are no longer valid.  Obviously there will always be those who dispute new findings, for instance, on Bohemian & Silesian weights, or who insist that Whitefriars made weights in the 19th Century or that St. Mandé never made paperweights!
But read the literature, study weights available through dealers and draw your own conclusions...
